Encouraging Youth

The Lions Clubs International Peace Poster Contest has been conducted since 1988 in local schools by encouraging young people of the ages 11, 12 and 13 years to artistically express their visions of peace.

Promoting the Arts

A variety of mediums including charcoal, crayon, pencil and paint can be used to create a unique work that expresses the young artist’s life experiences and culture and spark their imagination. Each poster is judged on originality, artistic merit and expression of the theme of peace.

This year’s peace theme is "The Future of Peace"
